Roscoe was about 7 years old when he came in. He was found as an un-neutered stray and after being neutered,was given to us for rehoming.Unfortunately he is very nervous and is almost feral in his ways.He likes other cats but not people.He lives with Jean.

Rio has been in care with Jean for some 2 years now.He was rehomed by his first owner because he sprayed and was no longer wanted.From information gathered his owner left him out to run free all day and shut him in the garden shed at night.The original owner rehomed him via adverts and he went to live with another lady, who was not told of his problems. At her wits end with him, she phoned and we offered to take him into care but she didn't come back to us and the next thing we had a call from Wood Green Animal Shelter where he had been taken. After 2 weeks they could not cope with him and so he came here.Despite all the'tricks of the trade’ we have  learned over years, he still would not stop spraying so he became one of the unhomeables and went in with the others.He is a lovely boy with a super temperament, but his spraying is something to behold and from time to time he tries to mate Rosco his permanent companion. We had tests done to ensure he had been neutered properly.
He enjoys his life, other cats and people but on hindsight he must have been a nightmare to have in one’s home – saying that we don’t know the circumstances which started the problem.
